Orange man ID'd in fatal alligator attack

Police identified the Orange man killed this morning as Tommie Woodward in Texas' first fatal alligator attack in nearly two centuries.

The 28-year-old man had been swimming in Adams Bayou at Burkart's Marina off 1802 Mississippi with a woman, Orange police reported. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor, said Rodney Price, Justice of the Peace, Pct. 4.

Officers went out on a boat along with a game warden from Texas Parks and Wildlife where they found the man's body at about 4:30 a.m., Capt. J. P. Burns said.

Woodward lost his left arm from the elbow down and had puncture wounds on his upper chest, Capt. Robert Enmon with Orange PD.

But I can't help but mention that I thought of Boehner when reading the header.

If that gets me banned, so be it. I thought it. And it wouldn't be a bad thing.

my reaction was that I didn't know that gators got drunk when I read that alcohol is believed to be a factor.
