Attorney: Pot brownie case against teen should be thrown out

The case against Jacob Lavoro, who faces up to life in prison in connection with making and selling pot brownies, should be thrown out because police entered an apartment illegally, his lawyer said Thursday.

Lavoro, a Round Rock resident, has been charged with a felony based on the entire weight of the brownies rather than the amount of the actual drug in them.

More than 100 people held a rally Thursday afternoon in front of the Williamson County Justice Center in support of Lavoro, 19, whose case has attracted national attention.

Attorney Jack Holmes, Lavoro’s lawyer, said after a court hearing for Lavoro on Thursday that Round Rock police officers had announced they were maintenance men when they knocked on the door of an apartment where Lavoro was staying.

I had a friend that always removed the seeds and stems from their stash all at once, just in case they were busted it would be for a lesser amount.

Slightly off-topic: I can't remember the last time I found a damn seed!

The last time I did I gave it to me friend to grow. It produced a nice new strain for combustion/consumption.
