Rhode Island State Police lay off legal counsel, spokeswoman

Two civilian employees of the Rhode Island State Police, the agency’s chief legal counsel and a spokeswoman who handled media relations, have received layoff notices, Col. James M. Manni said Friday.

Kirk earned $105,000 in salary while Andrews’ salary was $115,000, he said.
