Related: About this forumAnyone else seen the ads supporting Tom Wolf?
I've seen a couple extolling Wolf on reversing (as much as he could) Corbett's education cuts and on expanding career training. Yesterday I saw a new one hitting the R-controlled legislature for not working with Wolf. The spots are funded by a group called "America Works". Are these spots just running in western Pa or have outside my area seen them?

(32,620 posts)Tom Wolf has my vote, and he's popular here in Western PA as far as I know.
We've got to get paper ballots for the next election. Next time I vote I'm going to refuse to use the electionic voting machine and i'll try to get everyone I know to do the same. Hopefully in a couple-three years we'll have the congressional districts redrawn and gerrymandering will be GONE!

(15,273 posts)The newly elected VA House of Delegates delegate, Danica Roehm, said she won because she focused on things people care about like getting a major road in her district fixed. These ads are in a similar vein. One talks about restoring Corbett's education cuts. One talks about expanding vocational education/career training. The newest one talks about the Republican legislature not being willing to work with Wolf. They don't focus on hot button social issues, but real problems that affect people's every day lives: education, jobs and bi-partisan problem-solving.
On redistricting, as I understand it, Darryl Metcalfe is holding up HB722, the main redistricting reform bill, in his committee - won't give it a hearing or vote.
