Lawyer in Wolf Commercial falsely accused of being in porn film (Rep Sen. Candidate produced film)

This is getting weird. An attorney and occasional actor volunteered to appear for a few seconds as one of the people who talk about Wolf's background in a TV ad.

The Republican Governors Ass. (which is Corbett's main source of money) then starts to spread an attack that the actor had once appeared in a "porn" movie. A little bit of blowback occurs when it turns out that the current Republican candidate for the 46th district Senate seat, Camera Bartolotta, was the producer of that supposed porn movie, and the director twice ran as a Republican for a State House seat.

Now, it turns out it wasn't a porn movie at all. Instead, it was a low-budget gross horror film.

Update: The guy in the ad is Alan Benyak, an attorney in western PA. He is a one-time special assistant U.S. Attorney, and was an army lawyer who served in the Kuwait/Iraq War.

The actor in the commercial has been an attorney for 20 years. He says he is being tarred and feathered for having agreed to help out a friend, by playing a supporting role in a cheap film.

The actor was a lawyer in the Army. He was a volunteer for the Wolf commercial.

The Republican Governors' Ass. got themselves all excited, and issued a press release trying to tie the words "porn" and "Tom Wolf" together.

The Pittsburgh City Paper said that if Repubs don't like that horror film, "they can just close their eyes"

Let's talk about real porn.

How about Republicans who continually refuse to allow Philadelphia to have a cigarette tax so they can try to fill the budget holes created from the Republican slashing of funding to public schools.

How about city schools that have to operate without school nurses, which may have contributed to the deaths so far of at least 2 kids in Phila. schools?

How about city high schools with one guidance counselor for every 1,500 students?

How about schools in dangerous neighborhoods that had to lay off security guards?

How about a Philadelphia high school that started last year without anyone to teach 9th grade math?

How about city school students who can't get into the libraries of their own schools because there is no one to staff them? Public school book circulation has dropped by an amazing amount as a result.

That to me is what is known as "ruin porn."
