Tens of thousands cut from PA. Medical Assistance, Many Don't Even Know It

http://readingeagle.com/article.aspx?id=362558

Good article on how PA. has used a bureaucratic system of "re-certification" to knock tens of thousands of people off the medical assistance roles. Many don't find out about it until they try to see a doctor or go to a hospital.

It isn't just Berks county. DPW is doing that all over the state. And yet, most of those who are hit the hardest are in red zones and will vote for Corbett just because of the (R) next to his name. They just keep screwing themselves.

The cuts are part of new Welfare Secretary Gary Alexander's plan to reduce fraud and waste
