Governor's debate tonight, too - Dalton/McCrory - UNC-TV

Tonight is a pivotal night in the race for Governor: the first fall debate between Walter and Pat McCrory.

Walter has been doing a little practice, but his real practice was holding town halls on community college campuses across the state--taking any and all questions.

There's a big difference between these two: Walter shoots straight and is a details guy--because that's how you get things done. Pat McCrory is full of hot air. And if you're in the middle class, hold on to your pocketbook!

Walter is a fighter, and the future of North Carolina is on the line. Tonight, he'll step into the ring. Tune in! Tweet about it with the hashtags #ncpol and #gowalter! And show your support for Walter!

7:00 PM Tonight
Streamed online at http://www.unctv.org/
and on NC Association of Broadcasters member stations across the state.

1. https://twitter.com/dukedemocrats

DukeDems are live tweeting the Gov debate. It's on WUNC radio/TV too.

McCrory has no new ideas - same old shit: cut taxes and deregulate, gut education. Idiot.

My kinda folks - our Dem future! http://devildems.com/

2. what'd you guys think?

I was at work so I couldn't pay much attention. I really wish Dalton had national support like mccrory does. His ads are at 10-1 in terms of frequency. No superpacs are supporting Dalton that I've seen.

3. I didn't get to hear it all but...

...from what I did hear, Dalton was pretty forceful. I especially loved that Dalton stated what tax rate he pays and McCrory pretty much pulled a Romney.
