This fucking state. I used to have a modicum of pride for North Carolina, being the one southern state that seemed to at least try to pull its head out of the ass of the old south. This last year has made me seriously consider moving. I've only lived out of state for 6 months in my 35 or so years. 'Saddened' is too weak a term.
