NY Congressman Offers "Do Unto Others" Bills To Give Colleagues TrumpCare Health Plans
Maloney said if members of Congress allow their states to impose an "age-tax" they shouldn't escape it or other cuts under the AHCA.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY – Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) introduced a package of legislation that would force some members of Congress to forgo their health plans on DC’s Health Insurance Marketplace and buy the plans with less coverage or higher costs that their constituents would be offered under TrumpCare. The bills target representatives whose states adopt waivers for pre-existing conditions, age, or essential health benefits.
