Objections filed to Zephyr Teachout's petitions to challenge Gov. Cuomo in Democratic primary

Two objections were received by the Board of Elections Monday to the nominating petitions of Zephyr Teachout, the Fordham Law School professor attempting to challenge Gov. Cuomo in the Democratic primary.

Harris Weiss of New City in Rockland County and Austin Sternlicht of Rye in Westchester county each mailed a notice of objection to the state Board of Elections challenging Teachout''s petitions.

Both listed former state Senate Democratic Minority Leader Martin Connor, an election law lawyer, as their contacts.
