NYC cab driver beaten with skateboard over ethnicity

MANHATTAN (WABC) -- A New York City cab driver is recovering from his injuries after he was beaten up by a passenger.

Mohammed Ali Fahd suffered a broken nose and swollen eye in the attack.

He says he was clobbered with a skateboard Monday after his passenger found out he was from Pakistan.

It happened at a gas station on the East Side of Manhattan, where Fahd had pulled over after his passenger started flipping out.
