Former NYS Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno acquitted

Forrmer Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno was acquitted Friday morning of two federal corruption charges.

A relieved Bruno outside the court house gave thanks to "the good Lord", his lawyers and his former constituents who have remained supportive.

"We're just going to go on with our lives and pick up our lives and go forward," Bruno, a Rensselaer County Republican, said.
