How do I get in touch with y'all?
I'm relatively new and can't send messages.
And I have a really interesting idea...

(10,597 posts)I assume you mean fellow Missourians? I'm not a Missourian, but I'm a DUian.
There's a little blue dot in the lower right of the frame of each note which says
"Reply to this note" (or something like that.) Click on that and scroll down to reply.
Viola! Then punch "post my reply". Good luck!

(38,958 posts)I am one of the current co-hosts for the group and look forward to your posts here. There are several members of which I know who are from Missouri and it appears you are off to a good start getting in touch with them via this post. Sometimes it does take a bit for folks to check this particular section of the whole board and frankly there has been a bit going on of late. I would encourage you to check through some of the previous posts in the Missouri Group at this point and get a feel for the thread & it's members posting. I try to check the thread every day & try to post about that often (of late it has been a bit less so). If you find Missouri related news stories or things of interest please feel free to post them, we look forward to greater participation.

(114 posts)I'm trying to build a plan to unseat some of these whack jobs in MO. DUer insight will of course, be helpful.
How do I send messages to individuals? Not spam or trolling but being able to establish some kind of pipeline besides open forum posts. Do I have to be a member for a while or something?
Also, I'm cultivating a master list of every state where House members are vulnerable, the criteria to attack them, and the ideal Dem replacement. More on that soon, I hope.

(38,958 posts)to DU members using the little envelope icon you see. Of course finding the home states of those members can be a bit of a challenge as most do not indicate their location in their profiles. There are a few Missourians here, but as to how many I could not hazard a guess. I would use DU as one vehicles among others, such as Facebook & other boards for your stated goals.

(1 post)Hello all, I am recent transplant from Michigan--burrr...originally born in Kansas City, Mo. Parents were gypsies; we moved to California in the late 60's early 70's.
My brother moved back to MO and I have now followed him back to KCMO!!
This is my question...oh btw...love this web-site...just found it...it will now be my fav!
I live in Raymore, bedroom community to Kansas City, Mo and I enjoy news/talk radio.
The news/talk radio I have found in the Kansas City metro area is very republican/conservative slants....only need to listen to the DJ's for a few minutes to know what color they prefer.
I have searched on the Internet to find a liberal/democratic radio station in KC MO. Not having any luck.
I just want to hear some news, listen to intelligent and informed listeners that don't have a love affair with Rush Limbaugh--puke.
Anyone have a station to suggest for me?
Thanks all!
