Ward 3 City Councilman Kenneth Stokes on Wednesday lashed out at Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba in a developing war of words between the two city leaders as a water crisis continues to play out in Jackson.

Stokes on Wednesday continued his attack on Lumumba for what he described as an "incompetent" and late response to the crisis.
