single issue legislation will be the law of the land. That being said, given the Republican idiots in congress now, your staff has to read each and every line to weed out their nefarious stunts.

It would be a good principle to apply nationwide.

personally I don't believe it. And, as it appears the language was not slipped in at the last minute at best, Amykins just didn't read the bill and is looking for someone to blame.

Or - being an incredible cynic - I wouldn't find it hard to believe that some of the Third Way's corporate friends don't want this bill to pass and this is just an convenient way to hold it up. I seem to recall Franken mentioning sex trafficking in one of his books and the powerful forces that either make use of it or make money off it.

Not just Klobuchar - all of them. They need to take a little time off from fundraising and do their damn jobs. There's no excuse for saying, "Oh, sorry, I didn't know that bit was in there. My aides didn't tell me."

Responsibility starts at the top but the report I heard Amy was very quick to throw her staffer under the bus. I suppose that is a lot easier than having to explain she didn't read the bill before voting.

They failed. Amy failed. Franken failed. And now the Conservatives want to use it as leverage.
There is no doubt that Bills should be single issue. MN. alone should pass a Law on this.

I am afraid that the biggest attack in the US will be on MN. There is no doubt in my mind that the closing and moving of large businesses here are an attempt to bring the Dems down and also the high end condos rising as fast as they can put them up to house 1%-ters. MN. is also one of the States that will be where people will escape to as Climate Devastation continues. Many things break my heart while I watch so we best get on her tail to shape up or ship out because we are going to need the strongest and the most intelligent to survive this onslaught in our Country as well as in our State.

I do not trust her. I do not like her. No matter what she says she failed.
