Michaud Condemns Politics on Student Loans
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Mike Michaud is condemning the political maneuvering by House leaders on student loan interest rates. A House bill considered today would pay for the student loan fix by repealing the Prevention and Public Health Fund, which provides support for hundreds of thousands of breast and cervical cancer screenings as well as childhood immunizations and screening newborns for birth defects.
