St Clair, golden, Olsen maybe??

Beverly Uhlenhake, Maine Senate. She came to my home on a door knocking run and we had a great chat.

I was at UMA when they were setting up.

There was a MAGA-Moran in the parking lot with a big Trump sign on his pick-up blasting Hank Williams Jr.

I held my tongue...

My choices were based on whether the successful Democratic candidate would have "a prior history" that would immediately trigger the morans and maybe some like-minded "independents".

Mills, Eve, St. Pierre are all excellent candidates, but I fear many people in the 2nd D would not give then the time of day because they either tangled with LePage, or in the case of St. Pierre, would trigger an immediate negative response because of Roxanne Quimby and the National Monument.

Olsen and Cote do not have that "prior history" and would not be subject to those immediate knee-jerk attacks.

Maybe I'm right - maybe I'm wrong....
