How in the hell could Ernst be ahead in the polls? She's a TeaParty nutjob.

Just read Braley's trailing by 2. ????? How the heck could Iowa allow that TeaParty nutjob to possibly win this election???

For goodness sake, GOTV HARD for Braley. I watched the debates. She is HORRIBLE and performed HORRIBLY.

How the heck could this be happening???

it has become like a team sport, where they want their "team" to win, even if they have the Michael Vick equivalent running for dog catcher. go team go.

Certainly, there's the sixth-year phenomenon, where the party that occupies the White House loses seats in the middle of the second presidential term, but we've had the October surprise in the form of Ebola, it's scaring the crap out of the mushy middle. At this point, even if the President called for any kind of travel ban, it would be seen as desperate just before the election.

However, I'm cautiously optimistic about this race.

Braley is leading in early voting and favorability.

And 7% say they might change their mind by election day.

But yeah, it is a bit disturbing that she is even in the running.

My opinion is that polls across the country are skewed right this round. But you didn't say which poll and I have seen several that have Bruce ahead.

I will guarantee we will be out there fighting for every vote. It ain't over til it is over.

Ah well, the real bashing comes in the presidential election year when everyone pitches a fit about caucuses.
