Teresa Greenfield filed to run for Grassley's seat...

...on 1/31/2021. Why haven't we heard anything about that?

1. That would be amusing if it wasn't so sad.

She couldnít even beat Joni.

2. I think some of the very vocal endorsements from some on the left hurt her campaign. Also, the

defund the police slogan put a lot of our candidates in very challenging races, and I think Joe Bidenís rejection of that slogan saved us

3. The biggest factor we continue to hear about in Iowa's losses

was lack of door knocking. We did none in Iowa and Republicans were all over the place.

Not sure I want to see Greenfield again, but we need someone to be working to rise opposition to Grassley.
His age has been cited as a big detriment in the next election.

6. I think you are right about the door knocking.

We live in Illinois, not far from the Iowa border. In past years, we have traveled to Iowa and knocked on doors. This year, we just could not risk that.

The poster above you wrote about some of the very vocal endorsements of those on the left. That is indeed a factor. It turns off people in my area, too. Those on the left need to realize that they are very polarizing in this part of the country.

7. You haven't heard because Greenfield has NOT filed to run against Grassley.

The attached document was about the 2020 campaign.

You should consider deleting this post which based on a misunderstanding of the document's intent.

8. I think canvassing would have helped

but I also think that a lot of people who don't usually vote crawled out from under their rocks to vote for that orange pustule and took the others along on the ride. Our tiny town usually has about 55-60% turnout. It was 87% this time.
