Question - Iowa's unemployed percentage is really low, yet the state did lose jobs over the past yea

Are Kim and her crew doing something to make the numbers look good to justify her insane policies of opening everything up despite the pandemic?

Is there someplace I can look to see what the real number of unemployed was a year ago versus today? This just isn't passing the smell test, but I don't know where to look for the skunk.

1. Likely people are not in the numbers because of the rules

Once you have been unemployed for a certain length of time or are no longer looking they do not count.

What you are talking about, I think, is the actual employment numbers (what percentage of adults age 18-67 are working). THat is a better measure of employment because it paints a picture of how many people are removed from the economy.

2. That sounds like what I am looking for.

I think the Labor Department has such a number for the country. I think it is called the U6. Not sure.
Any idea if Iowa has a comparable number or if the US breaks it down by state?
