My brother called me from DuPage County

this morning. He received his ballot, voted for Democrats, and turned it in at the county offices, placing it in the drop box. Apparently there are long lines there, and he did not want to vote that way. He says several of his neighbors have turned in their ballots as well.

We grew up in West Chicago, which was mostly republican at the time. He has facebook friends from our time there. Many of them are staunch republicans. He says the tax business has turned several of them around. They will not vote for trump now. They are angry. He thinks most of them will not vote at all.

I'm sure many have buyer's remorse.

Think of the ones who were misled last time by Comey.

We filled them out, and turned them in at the local public library, which is a proper drop off point.

Everett M. Dirksen counted on to win elections. But that's back when republicans were not wacky republiCons.

Thanks for posting murielm99. I hope you are well. I am praying, with my fingers and toes crossed that we win this one big!

In the 2016 general: Hillary Clinton 53.96% Donald Trump 39.28%

While there is a big pocket of evangelical voters in Wheaton, Trump was basically too bat shit crazy even for DuPage County....that makes his victory even more suspicious to me.

Went to school in Wheaton and had friends throughout DuPage, including West Chicago. All very Republican except our family. current friends in GE say the county is more purple than the red Area where I grew up. Yay! That’s a big change!
