Another FL teacher quits the 'toxic profession'.

If you are in college and plan to teach here’s some advice - DON’T!

If you’d like to move to Florida to teach the advice is the same!

It is out of control how bad things have become in this state for teachers, including the fact that the legislature just created a massive expansion of vouchers for private schools.

We are now 46th in average teacher salary. Think about that for a minute.

1. It is truely crazy down here...

low pay, guns in class rooms. Tax dollars to private schools! Last week a resource officer had his gun go off in the cafeteria, he was leaning against a wall doing nothing when it happen, no one injured. Total terror in the cafeteria.

2. The state is run by reactionary morons

their objective is to suppress voting, keep everyone ignorant, and fill the prisons and jails. They don't know anything else.

3. How much does each student get from the state per year?

CA was 48th and 49th for most of the time I was teaching in the 90s and 2000s. A rich state and the students get crap.
