Orlando man learns important lesson: Raccoons will bite your dumb ass

http://www.orlandoweekly.com/Blogs/archives/2016/04/28/orlando-man-learns-important-lesson-raccoons-will-bite-your-dumb-ass

While feeding a few local raccoons, an Orlando man learned a valuable lesson: Raccoons will bite your dumb ass.

In a video posted to YouTube, Braddock Baskett spots a gang of Orlando raccoons (or, a "gaze" of raccoons) in a back parking lot. "I've never seen this many raccoons," he says, while holding a little snack in his outreached hand.

Moments later, a raccoon who seems determined to educate Baskett on the noble savagery of nature, bites his finger.

It's a tough lesson. However, Baskett now knows that raccoons will indeed bite your dumb ass.

They undo any "lock" you can put on. And chew through the plastic ones.

I have a reluctant admiration for them.

as well as friendly and fairly gentle. As soon as puberty hits, they start turning into demons. The people raising them knew this and started to acclimate them to the wooded acreage as soon as they were weaned.

Did he not notice the raccoon coming towards him with its ears laid back? I like the nonchalant cats hanging out with them.

Foxes, deer, coyotes, the cats are instantly alert, and most likely dashing for a safe place. The racoons come in, the cats raise up and say, "Oh, it's just the raccoons." And go back to sleep.
