Ouch! State Party involvement in the Rick Kriseman Campaign on Treasurer Report

http://www.stpete.org/cityclerk/elections/2012_candidate_campaign_treasurer_s_reports/docs/Rick_Kriseman_Q2_Rep_2013.pdf

Wow...just wow! Alison Tant sends out email after email for our donations, we MUST beat Rick Scott!

Very true.

So why is she sending state contributions to pay for Kriseman campaign staff? This went on with Thurman while all were told in Pinellas, they were paying for a DEC helper for Pinellas. When the party took him off of the state payroll, he just rolled over to the Kriseman Campaign. This "helper" was not there for us as we were bamboozled to believe. He was always Kriseman's camp manager.
Rick is getting money to pay for his campaign, where he should be raising it.

Did the party pay for Alex Sinks camp manager? I did not think so.

For all of your dollars going to Kriseman, the new poll shows him sinking.......now down 15 points! The party is taking your money, and using it in a race with TWO DEMOCRATS, and I'm sure THIS document shows a violation.
Nice, eh? The report is attached from the City of St. P

Of Kriseman's 58K overhaul, only 4K came from St. Pete voters! He does not represent them! SugarShack Jul 2013 #9

Ford is slipping in the polls and fund-raising, and has ducked out of every debate. Kriseman is gaining ground in polls and fund-raising, and has done well in debates against Foster. Ford supporters now looking to sling mud.
Foster (the incumbant) has done a poor leadership job, St Pete residents are looking for a change. Unfortunately for Ford, her term on City Council is primarily noted for being a loose cannon, making unreasonable demands on city employees, and basically just a pain in the ass to everyone. Kriseman has a good record as a State Rep, and people unhappy with the other two choices are giving him a serious look. Still many undecideds, so anything can happen.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sugar Shack works for Ford's campaign.

Kriseman isn't sinking, he's rising. Unlike Ford, he hasn't run on a city wide ballot in 12 years. He is still introducing himself to the city.

The reason the Florida Democratic Party is supporting Kriseman is because he can win. Ford is a two time loser and is hated by almost everyone she has ever served with. She is abrasive and does not work well with other. Instead of uniting communities she divides them. That's Kathleen Ford.

The FDP knows that Kriseman can become a leader in the party if he is elected. Kathleen will never be a statewide contender.
In fact just TODAY Kathleen Ford sent a very bitter email to a local social club board that was very unprofessional and unbecoming of a Mayor.

As a democrat, I'm supporting Kriseman, but as a St. Petersburg resident I cannot support Ford.
So if it's a Ford and Foster rematch I will be supporting the Republican. That's how bad Ford is.

Aaron Sharockman live report: "there is no pathway for Mr. Kriseman to reach the general election

The Times deputy political reporter, gave a live report Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the Greater Pinellas Democratic Club. These were his words.

"There is no pathway remaining for Mr. Kriseman to reach the general election."

"But don't underestimate the power of BIG MONEY". (the state party is openly supporting one of the democrats in this primary/runoff.)

"If the election is between Mr. Foster and Mrs. Ford, Mrs. Ford will win the race".

The Tampa Bay Times has spent lots of money on polling. This is their report. I did not see it in ink. So you only heard it, if you went to the monthly meeting, where Adam Smith was to be the guest speaker, but had to go to Tallahassee instead. So he sent Aaron with the report.

GO KATHLEEN FORD!

I'll sit out the election. There's no way I can bring myself to vote for her-I've seen no evidence that she's matured as a politician or a human being.

They introduced her four years ago as "the bitch". YOU don't know how your negativity has cost you. All have said this group, and the TImes has really lowered the bar. They are voting Ford.

So are most republicans. She's been leading the city, on all the issues you have cared about.

You are bitter. You lost last time too, and stayed home. You are the reason, St Pete has an incompetent. Ford told Kriseman's supporters she would be helping him if he won.

Now, look at you. That's okay, we are doing it without you.
