Good news. 4 out of 7 days we are below 10K cases.
Today below 9K.
Not great at all. Still a long way to go but I’ll take any good news. I’m not cheering for a disaster. I am not hoping for bad news. This is deadly. I’d be thrilled if it burned out today. That said, Ron DeathSantis still needs to resign. Any progress we might be making has nothing to do with him. We are witnessing the greatest dereliction of press and gubernatorial duty in the history of America.

How will we know?

3. So you really trust their numbers? Epidemiologists are questioning their veracity,
and early on there was a whistleblower who was fired for refusing to fudge the numbers. So you think they are better behaved today than months ago? I don't...

4. The real data has been manipulated in Florida since the beginning
And Trump is filtering numbers nationwide through the whitehouse instead of the CDC, all for the purpose of showing improving results that are not actually improving.

5. I've been following the positivity rate as well.
These lower numbers have to be due to fewer tests. Can't have an increasing positivity rate and decline in the number of confirmed cases without that factored in. I haven't been tracking daily testing totals, but these two data sets would indicate that.
I also noticed that my county is not reporting antigen test results (the rapid testing). |
