U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting Tonight
About Tonight: December 2, 2014TREE LIGHTING: The lights on the 88-foot Capitol Christmas tree will be switched on at 5 p.m. on the West Front Lawn. Speaker of the House John Boehner and other members of Congress will attend the event, which is free and open to the public. It will also be broadcast live here.—Sarah Anne Hughes
