The New York Times has a long, long article
in it's Travel/Tourism section titled "Taking a trip, literally, on Colorado's pot trail" extolling the joys of vacationing in our beautiful state and being stoned and in the company of people who will be stoned with you the entire time. I've always believed weed should be legalized and regulated everywhere and that using it is never the problem that alcohol and harder drugs are. And I think overall Colorado has handled it pretty well.
Having lived in many places and in Colorado many years I am happy when it is touted as one of our most beautiful, healthiest, best- educated, progressive states because it is. But I'm not happy to see it become the vacation spot in the nation where you will never need to look at or visit our mountains, our trails, our towns, or our interesting people to get a Rocky Mountain high.
