I arrived to hike it shortly after the 3 college students went over... they were overcome by the force of the water after carelessly going into the water close to the falls...

reinforced my respect for nature!

This was back when I was 20 yo though. Doubt I could even make it to Vernal Falls these days. Too much uphill. Nowadays I'm lucky to make it up to Mirror Lake lol.

But man Vernal Falls is freaking awesome when it's running like that, esp. at the spot that's at around 3:30 mins in the video.
