Ours turned on around 2 PM. All day prior to that it was dark, just not enough to trip the sensors. RockRaven Sep 2020 #9

I haven't suffered that in a couple years but I can relate! I'd be having severe respiratory problems at this point.

We only got a break from smoke, in Montana, because we got that cold front pass through which brought a day of rain and helped put out a couple fires but the smoke is back, nothing like what you're dealing with though. At least, not this year. We have been below 50F for the last 50 hrs, had to cover the garden for the whole time. It just hit 60F and will be back in the 80s/90s by Friday.

Is how my daughter described our current weather in the west, including your temperature/weather swings.

In southern Oregon a series of fires burned across the towns of Talent and Phoenix (and into Medford, last I heard). My mother-in-law lives about 10 miles outside of Medford.

We are living in the Upside Down. I so hope things turn around in your area. Take care.

It is not the worst air quality, at ground level, we've had during this past month, but it sure is the darkest.
