For Bernie Supporters in Southern California

Don't know if you caught this but Bernistas are going to be marching BEHIND the Rose Parade this year. They're asking for volunteers to join them. Here's the link in case you're interested:

3. The Rose Parade is supposed to be apolitical family enjoyment.

Please do not try to turn it into a political event.

4. You might want to address the organizer.

I'm sure it will have it's usual effectiveness.

5. K&R

Oh, I'll be watching this, but from my couch with a couple of other Bernistas! Thanks for the heads-up.

6. I hear ya.

Back in my younger, wilder days we used to celebrate New Years Eve on Colorado Blvd, party all night, bring our sleeping bags and get about 45 minutes of "sleep" before the parade started. Next morning, hangover with live marching bands 10 feet from you. I also remember freezing my (at the time) skinny little ass off. Came home with RAGING bronchitis and yes, I did it again the next year and the year after that.

There's something to be said about enjoying the Rose Parade from the comfort of your own home, in your jammies with the heater on.
