Anyone know of pet rescue groups near the russilville area (I'm needing one, now.)

A drop off dog had puppies under my shed. I counted 4, but there are probably more.

I've tried city control, but since the mother appears to be part pit they are legally bound to refuse assistance.

She had them under the shed, so while it is outside it's in a relatively enclosed area.

Just see if you can get them inside where they can be warm and away from any animals that you might have. Maybe enclose them in a room.

With where they are positioned, I've got a couple tree/bushes/whatever blocking off that side. I don't know if I've got a working set of cutters to remove them.

The only other animals that I've got are two cats, one indoor and one outdoor.

They recomended Gentle Souls to me, but they are closing their doors soon so they can't take in new animals.

The side that they are on has bricks preventing us from digging down, and pulling the front ramp to try and pull them out the front is going to be next to impossible since it's built directly into the sheds frame.

I'll continue digging around to try and make a opening to get the puppies out, but since the weather has improved a bit I might just leave them be for awhile and just catch em when they start exploring.

Something must have spooked mama dog, I found her in the garage this morning moving over a puppy. I ended up finding two and three hidden in old leaves in a open air storage that was by the shed she had them under.

It's lower then what I counted (By hearing them wimper, I was only able to see one puppy under the shed) and since I haven't found any more puppies I'm going to consider 4 as some of the other puppies wimpers echoing under the shed. Given how enclosed it was, it's most likely what happened and it's a lot nicer alternative compared to other things I can think of.

Here' some pictures of em all.

Two and Three (Just going to say, it was ANNOYING finding them. They were hidden under leaves, so that with their coat makes me suprised I didn't accidently step on em when looking.)

Two and Three again

1, 2 and 3 (Or is that 3 1 and 2? - Also, the reddish part on the 3rd puppy isn't a wound, just some odd discoloration from the light/camera/)

Edit - Rescue group just picked em up, all 3 of the puppies were girls. From what they told me, they're all headed to Nebraska when they are fully weaned.
