Heading back to AZ to visit family.

Cornville, Cottonwood, and Page Springs areas.

I'm bringing my 13 yr old son to see his Grandpa and Grandma on my side. They are getting up there in years and things are breaking down fast with them.

I'll take him on a rail ride from Williams to GC and spend some time in Flag. Show him my alma mater.

I do miss the hire desert and life above the Mogollon Rim.

Now I visit an have an expensive meal. how times change.

I'll do more sight seeing but its a chance for him to interact with old and docile family who won't be on the earth much longer.

He has to hear the stories before there is no one to tell them.

growing reefer in the front yard of his home. Went there last February. Lots of "galleries" and white wine.

Some of the old restaurants were still open and still good. Found some funky dumps with dicey characters from the old days. Almost like the real deal head shop I worked in '69 - '70.

Bought the best $5.00 pipe I've ever bought there last Feb.

Went to Bisbee, Tombstone, Douglas, the Chiricahua National Monument.

I'm enjoying life up on the Mogollon Rim for the summer. Most people mistakenly think that AZ is all desert.
