I'm not surprised. Although she's a serious underdog, I have seen more yard signs for the Dem, Dr. Hiral Tiperneni, (5), than for her GOP rival (0), which is more than I've ever seen before for any Dem candidate in my very red ( but courteous and well-behaved )neighborhood in the quarter-century I've lived here.

"On Wednesday, the RNC sent national reporters a rundown of negative stories about Tipirneni, branding her as too far to the left for one of Arizonas most conservative districts; on Friday it clipped her answers in a televised debate to advertise her opposition to the tax cuts passed by Congress last year and to Trumps proposed wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. But Democrats were confused by the RNCs attack on Tipirneni for supporting NAFTA, a trade deal thats more popular in border states than it is in the Rust Belt.
Spending more than a quarter-million DC dollars for door-to-door outreach is a bit surprising, said Tipirnenis spokesman, Jason Kimbrough. It just shows how worried they must be about enthusiasm for their ethically challenged nominee. Dr. Tipirnenis a strong candidate, especially when compared to career politician Debbie Lesko, whos obviously in trouble."

Dr. Hiral Tipirneni has dedicated her life to serving her community, solving problems, and improving lives. Shes served the Phoenix area for more than 20 years as an emergency room physician, cancer research advocate and, most recently, on the board of directors of the Maricopa Health Foundation, which supports the countys public health care delivery system.
Hiral came to America from India with her family at the age of three. Her parents were seeking the American dream because they knew the United States was a place where, if you worked hard and lived by the rules of democracy, you could be successful no matter where you came from.

(10,437 posts)more market losses and trump's support in this district may be thinking perhaps their bank balances may be more important than supporting trump and conservatives
