I was in the minute I saw Alfre Woodard, love her! It's a really good political espionage thriller. Anyone else watching this one?

1. I too adore Alfre Woodard

I watch almost anything I see her in even if I probably won't like it but I missed that she was on Desperate Housewives. I don't think anything could have made me watch that.

2. We are very surprised how much we really like this show.

I wasn't fond of Katherine Heigl, probably because of the lousy character they had her play on Grey's Anatomy though, plus
the bad press she frequently gets.

My husband was convinced he'd hate it. Strong women characters aren't something that appeal to him.

Now he's hooked on State of Affairs AND Madam Secretary.

I sure wish that when I was growing up we had this many strong powerful women on TV. Glad they are here for
the next generation though.
