Olive Kitteridge..

I liked the acting, but man o man what a downer this show was.. Everyone was unhappy, and suicide was something everyone seemed to think about a lot..

Did anyone else watch it ?

1. I have it taped but haven't yet watched....

Your OP is giving me pause. I guess if it's too much for me I can always just delete it. But it does have a great cast.

3. Me too, but if it's a downer, I might not watch it.

I only recorded it in case it might be Emmy worthy and when they award the Emmies, I like to know what it was about.

4. I finished it tonight, and yeah,

I have to agree. Great acting, but the story was a complete downer. Everyone was miserable. Definitely not a "feel good" show!

6. It was infinitely watchable

I felt badly for most of the characters, and especially for the poor happy go lucky hubby.. The only character who led a good & happy life was the dog

7. Excellent...

Yes, it's a downer, but a good downer. The acting was superb as was the script and direction. I loved it.

8. I loved it. The ending was actually not a downer and while suicide was a theme, so was the

prevention of suicide. She reminded me of a person I knew, the mother of a friend.
