Fargo / Season Three (spoilers)
Awesome cast, especially David Thewlis, who gave an emmy-winning performance. The cinemotography, direction and production design was top notch as always.
Edge-of-the-seat stuff. I was totally on board ... until the final episodes.
The Bowling Alley scene and Ray the Cat lost me.
Nikki and Mr. Wrench's victories seemed unrealistic given the forces they were up against.
The final crime -- the loan swindel -- was anticlimactic considering the wickedness of V.M. Varga & Company. It needed to be far more heinous.
Nikko Swango's demise was too clean to be believed. Speaking of which, in this scene Emmit's car dies then conveniently starts up again 15 minutes later. If divine intervention plays a part in the plot, as some reviewers and pundits suggest, you've wasted my time. I consider it a cop-out and bad storytelling.
Thanks goodness for the ending featuring Carrie Coon and Thewlis at the DHS. Stunning dialogue -- some of the best ever put on film.
