Life got ahead of me this month and I was unable to submit my entry to the July contest.

But here it is in all it's abandoned glory.

7. Wow.....a castle!

I had never heard of this so I looked online and read about it. Did you know they do tours and have events? I think it would be great to visit there.

I wish you could have entered the contest because your photo is really lovely. I wonder what it would be like to live in a castle?

I thought maybe you caught the photo while out on a boat or something. But going on tour sounds like great fun. Wish I lived closer.

16. The shame is that buildings like this were allowed to deteriorate.

There were several in northern N.J. One was owned by the heir of the A & P founder.
