Sourland Mountain is not so much a mountain, it's more like a bump. The ridge that radiates from it is so steep it looks like a small mountain range as you view it from the farm lands below.
As a matter of note, I posted a picture of a farm at sunset a few weeks ago and it was taken as I was descending the "mountain".

A touch of ozone in the air like at a waterfall.... maybe 50-60 degrees? A picture evokes the other senses from our stored experiences. Good stuff, Bravo!!

You should try going on an overcast day. It is like having a giant soft box. Subtle shadows and colors.
Is the trout fishing still good there?
