Sitting at my desk, looked out the window and saw this critter perched on my 17th floor railing. Crept out the balcony door and it didn't fly away.

(31,381 posts)but has yet to make a move to hop down on them. They are still blooming, but the leaves are looking kind of sad after we had a couple of nights down in the 40's

(31,381 posts)I was trying to shoot from behind it and not getting a good shot. Decided what the heck and moved to within 3-4 feet away and it still didn't move. In fact, it's still out there.

(31,381 posts)but is currently back sitting parallel to the top of the railing. oh, the drape was blocking my view. Now there are two! Facing off. I opened the door and the second one flew away.
Little courting going on, I guess.
