1. Beautiful, Peggy!

I love the dark and mysterious aura to this photo.

4. Thank you so much, my dear Ohiogal!

That struck me too.

The sun was almost set and its light fell right on the plant.

I pounced!

2. I've never heard of that plant. I was expecting to see actual kangaroo paws!

Lovely photo, though.

3. That's what they're called! I have a beautiful one in my succulent garden. I buy

distressed plants from Home Depot at 75% off and rehab them. My Kangaroo Paw plant is now gorgeous. Thanks for all your beautiful pics.

7. Oh you're welcome. My latest is a dwarf Valencia orange tree, which is doing well.

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. Your moon pics always get me and my hubby outside to see the real thing.

8. Never heard of this one.. thanks Peggy, it's always such a pleasure to view your photos!

And I guess this is another one I'll never see up here in Wisconsin. Is there a tiny little flower in the lower left clump of 'paws'? Love the name, BTW. They really do look like Kangaroo Paws.

9. Thanks so much, my dear Talitha!

You've got a sharp eye! There is a tiny flower right where you saw it.

I have some photos that show the tiny flowers pretty well. Not sure when I took them, but I'll look. If I find one, I'll post it.

They are nowhere this big! Enjoy...
