Related: About this forumOne thing that makes me happy is
The Egyptian goddesses Bast and Sekhmet. Here is Bast on my shelf
I have a swavorski crystal ball in my window and the sun shone through the crystal turning Bast to rainbows. Colors make me happy too. So this photo was a two fer.
The drawing in the background behind Bast is my work.

(2,216 posts)I have this statue on my mantel, but no pretty colors like your crystal makes!
i have this Scruffy the Cat poster from the 80's that hung on my kitchen wall
for years , and the crystals in my kitchen window would play havoc over the day ...
at some point i took markers and started coloring in over time a bunch of it..
it was a b&w line drawing so the colors were fun
i googled their posters and it doesn't show up 🙁
maybe it was a one off or a fake ?
i know it's here somewhere 🤔

(2,216 posts)I had a dream years ago that has stayed vivid in my memory.
Two kittens, one a tuxedo cat, except the black had turned to a dark turquoise. The second one had a pattern of pale turquoise background with darker turquoise patches.
I had a cat coloring book at the time and I did a pic of what I dreamed. Don't know where it is now, but it gave me a lot of pleasure, the dream and the colored drawing.
I think cats are multicolored somewhere in the universe, and they must be miffed about the limited color palette available to them on earth.

I still have it. Another book I loved growing up was the Phantom Tollbooth.

(12,462 posts)Glow poster of King Tut my stupid drunk father tore up. I have been searching to replace those posters.
I love day glo posters especially the ones with cats or big cats.
