Is that blister beetles found in hay were causing a lot of horse health problems in the west several years ago.

I'm in the mountains so we have 8 small gardens about 100 ft x 100 ft scattered among the steep slopes. Wherever there is a flat spot, I plant a garden. The slopes are where the sheep and goats graze.

The blister bettles seemed to really enjoy the tomatoes but they moved on to anything available and cleared out everything in the one garden in about 15 days.....But they never found the other gardens.

I let the garden go dormant for a year and grazed the chickens on it. Then when I replanted it, no blister beetles.

These are amazingly detailed, so much so, that I can practically feel them.

Wonderful shots! Hardly scraping the bottom of the hard drive, lol!

Thank you for sharing them.
