The Wolf Moon tonight!

I didn't think we'd get to see it; very overcast here all afternoon. But I think the clouds are exactly right for the Wolf Moon. Can you hear the howling?

Get out and take a look if you can. Share your shot with us!

2. That's a great shot, my dear mnhtnbb!

The moon is not yet visible here, but I hope to catch it before too much later.

I will share if I get a half-way decent shot!

5. It was pretty high in the sky before it was visible

through the clouds. I had given up watching for it until I took Snowy out and there it was! We came right back up and I went out on the balcony. All hand held shots.

Hope you get to see it tonight.

8. I did get to see it, and my results are here in your thread!

My dinner is delayed! And the damn wires got in the way, but still...

Wolf Moon!

9. Love the color!

You must have captured it as it was rising!

10. It was rising!

I really wanted to get that.

These have not been retouched. I did crop them, but I always do that.

Thanks!

4. Beautiful! I just went out to check the sky - no luck. Just too much cloud cover

It is eerily warm, quiet and still. That will certainly be changing, over the next 24 hours, and not for the better.

Hopefully we'll have better luck with the next full moon.

6. It was 68 here today. Unreal.

Should be 40-50ish.

7. I think it hit 50, here. Should be 20+ degrees colder.

It's 48, right now and they are predicting we could get between 2 and 5" of rain, tomorrow, before the temperatures plummet and the sleet/icing start. This is most definitely not an 'average' Winter.
