(149,583 posts)My study is on the second floor and I have a terrific balcony out front. I was out there and I spotted the bud.
I wondered if I could get a photo of it..........and the rest is history!

Mira - seriously wonderful shot!

(31,382 posts)Wasn't going to enter this time, but, it's raining here and looks like it will be for the next week, so I got to playing with the few spring photos I have this year.

(31,382 posts)I have been feeling quite distracted for the last few weeks. Someone else recently mentioned having a spiritual malaise, and that pretty well describes my feelings, too. Been feeling quite unsettled.
Thanks for your kind words. Didn't have much in the way of spring photos this year. I went out several times to shoot, but wasn't really thrilled with results. Funny how both shots are flowers in front of windows!

(31,382 posts)I do, too. Some of it is personal, but some of it is definitely related to anxiety about the state of things in the country. Time will help the first situation, but I have my doubts about the latter.
