1. Looks a lot warmer than it is here. Lovely CaliforniaPeggy, just lovely.

Thanks for sharing. I am still looking at mounds and mounds of snow. Your spring gave me a little warmth.

3. Thank you so much, my dear GemDigger!

It is actually, for the first time, shirtsleeve weather today! I'm wearing a long sleeved mock t-neck with a sleeveless vest. I had to shed the vest, as it was too warm!.

So glad you enjoyed my photos!

my poor Kitty is torn between trying to find and catch them, and coming in for his afternoon snack and nap.

13. Thanks, California Peggy!

I'm sitting here hunkered down with my kitty, looking out the window at snow from our biggest storm of the year so far (Colorado). Thanks for the reminders of SoCal.

24. Well, the water that caused the plants and the butterflies to grow was rain!

We had way more rain this year than in many years.

Otherwise, our water comes from the California Aqueduct, and from the Colorado River, though this is changing.

25. Thank you so much, my dear Ohiogal!

I was really happy to see the butterflies all over the garden where I took these photos.

They don't sit still very long so getting a good shot is tricky!

I do believe you'll have spring in Ohio too, one sweet day.........

It will be glorious.

27. Very nice. Thank you.

In CO we are not quite there yet.

Quick Q: are the flowers in the butterfly pics some sort of sage? The leaves have that sage-y feel to them, but the flowers look almost like lantana clumps.

Thx again.

I'm afraid I don't know what the flowers are. I'll see if I can find out.

The butterflies were all over them!

The colors are wonderful indeed.........and we didn't have a white winter at all. Just gloomy, gray skies and rain nearly all the time.

I'm so glad it's over!

33. Beautiful Miss CP.

Weer in Wisconsin, and I wish I was home. Our daughter mention all the butterflies from the migration she saw, and all I could think about were the poppies that have probably bloomed in our yard.

Ive put in an application to a local company, and hope to get off the road soon. I miss So Cal, especially in the springtime.

35. Up here in Northern California

The grass is very green and the mustard is blooming. If you've never seen it, it's beautiful fluffy carpets of yellow, so wonderful.

We'll have poppies later but for now in the home garden, it's still daffodil time and the irises are very close. All this rain we've had is making a beautiful spring.

I love daffodils too, esp. in groups! The rain has really wrought an amazing spring.
