Spanish Doors

Spanish Doors

A friend of ours from Switzerland unlocking the doors to our Airbnb in Barcelona. Dani met us in Barcelona, and traveled with us to Nice. We hadn't seen her in five years (except through Skype) when she came to the US for my youngest daughter's wedding. It was great to have her with us. The fact that she is fluent in French was an added bonus.

My wife is fluent in Spanish, which was great in Barcelona. My youngest daughter and her husband met us in Rome after cycling from Nice to Florence, and then catching the train. He is fluent in Italian, so between the five of us we had all of the language bases covered. Most people we met spoke at least some English, but it's nice not to have to rely on that.

Anyway, these doors are just more of the cool architecture we saw on this trip. Check out that door hardware!

1. Gorgeous photo, my dear Adsos Letter!

The hardware looks like it belongs on a cathedral or a museum! Truly impressive and beautiful.

That must have been some trip!

2. It was a fantastic trip.

Our 40th wedding anniversary made it even better. Barcelona has been on my wife's bucket list for years. Watching her have so much fun was the best part.

I'll post some building fronts when I finish weeding through everything.
