My wife and I camped on the shores of this lake many times back in the sixties. And we pulled many wide mouth bass and crappie from its waters. We were stationed at Barksdale in Bossier City, La. then. However, I was born and reared about a 90-minute drive from the lake but, had never fished it until I got to Barksdale. Good times. Wish I were young enough to do it all over. Thanks for posting.
