I love daffodils and the crocus flowers. I wish it were cold enough here to grow them.

Thanks for sharing this beauty!

Don’t expect the daffodils for another month.
Snowdrops for me are always the harbinger of spring and just make my soul sing.

All of the snow is gone (for now) and my Daffs are pushed up a good 4 to 6", next to the house. I am so hopeful for an early warm up to Spring!

We call them "March flowers" here in the southern Appalachians - for good reason - but this month has been unusually rainy and warm. My yard is full of jonquils and I just love it. They smell great, too.

Not boring at all! It will be months before I see the first blooms from anything in my yard. I walked through inches of snow to my bus stop this morning.

Peace

I had watched them come up and grow tall in a totally different area of the yard, and not looked in the direction where these sprang up and bloomed "overnight".
I love the time when changes push through and promise better times to come.
I have renamed them and call them Muellers.

We've had some unseasonably warm weather here, but of my many planted bulbs only one or two have even showed a tiny tip of leaf.

Happy NC Spring!

I had only looked at my bulbs through the windows. It finally occurred to me that I should get out there and take a closer look. Sure enough, my earliest daffodils are up 4 to 5 inches and the others are not far behind. And the hellebores are budding up, close to opening!

Thanks for reminding me things are happening in the garden! We've been doing a kitchen remodel, and I kind of lost track of everything else.
