The photographer's nightmare - retinal detachment.
I has it. Luckily in my non-dominant left eye. Had surgery last Thursday. I'll be taking a break for a while.

1. Good luck
I am so thankful for modern surgery. I had my second such surgery seven weeks ago. This one was much more complicated than the one 12 years ago, but everything has gone really well.
Hope everything goes as well for you. The recuperation takes a while and can be frustrating. Don’t know if you have had cataract surgery recently. That can increase the likelihood of a detachment. On the other hand, my cataracts were very yellowed and had severely distorted by color vision. |

4. Oh that makes me sad for you.
Please do all the doctor says and don't overuse your eye til you are healed. I wish you a speedy recovery.
