I just opened an account with Postimage.org. I wanted to see if it works......and it does.

1. Do you think this is a good site to use?

If so I will sign up 'cause I never figured out how to post pics from .. google photos, for example..

3. I think it's pretty good.

I"m not very tech savvy, but with a little help from mnhtnbb, I was able to figure out how to navigate the site. I don't know how to post from Google photos either.

7. First you need to upload some pictures. It's smart to group them into Galleries, or groups.

Then, click on the image you want to upload.

Right above the photo, there is a button that says "share."

There will be a drop-down menu. You choose the choice that says "direct link".

Click on the emblem at the far right end. That will lift your picture and then you post it here.

Always check to make sure it worked by clicking "preview"!!!

This should work.

I actually did that. I uploaded a photo to my FB wall. It worked.
BUT when I click on the photo on FB it shows my POSTIMAGE acct with my photos in it, my email address, etc... ??

When I click your photo above-- nothing happens. which is what I want with my photos..

Sorry to bug you about it...

15. Ah no worries!

I"ve never loaded photos to Facebook from a photo hosting site. FB doesn't require you to do that, so I have no idea what's happening there.

The photo I uploaded here is from my own photo file on my computer. I only share my own work.

If not registered and logged in, Postimage will do strange things when you try to upload.

19. Yes, i opened an acct.

I only uploaded to fb as a test to see what would happen as i uploaded so only i could view it..
The link went to my pic on post image.org plus my other pics and info.email, etx.

Once before i tried to upload a pic from.maybe the old photobucket, and it did the same thing..went right to my acct..everything was visible.

So before i do a test here, i want to be sure my info etc won.t show up, 😀
